Charlotte gets Simone on board for new song

"Dopamine", the third single from Charlotte Wessels' new album "The Obsession", will not be released until July 11 - but it promises to be a musical firework. "'Dopamine' has undergone the biggest transformation of all the songs on the album - from its first incarnation to the heavy band version that is now on the album," writes Charlotte on her socials. And that's not all: she is accompanied by none other than Simone Simons from Epica, who is eagerly awaiting the release of her first solo album "Vermillion".

This is not the first collaboration between the two metal musicians and friends. Charlotte worked alongside Simone as part of Epica's "The Alchemy Project" together with Myrkur. The result: an impressive, vocally powerful song. So the anticipation for the new single can be great.

"Dopamine" is the third single release from "The Obsession". Charlotte Wessels' third album will be released on September 20, 2024. In contrast to her two predecessors, Charlotte returns to her metal roots on her new album.
