Fans of ex-Delain frontwoman Charlotte Wessels can look forward to a mixture of melancholy, dark elements and progressive soundscapes. The album, which Charlotte wrote and produced together with her band in her Six Feet Under home studio, differs from her solo releases. "This album is significant because on one hand it tells a very personal journey - through the unintentional theme of anxiety and obsessive thoughts - and at the same time represents the joy of finding the true forms of the songs with everyone involved in the making of this album. There were moments in the studio with the band that really reminded me why I love making music, and I don't think I've ever been so excited to put music out into the world. This is the album I want to reimagine myself with and I'm so happy to be doing it with this amazing team," says Charlotte.

Ex-Delain colleagues on board

On board are Timo Somers (guitar), Otto Schimmelpenninck van der Oije (bass) and Joey Marin de Boer (drums), all former Delain colleagues. Sophia Vernikov plays piano and Hammond, arrangements are by Vikram Shankar (Silent Skies, Pain of Salvation) and cello is played by Elianne Anemaat. The album was mixed by Guido Aalbers (Muse, Coldplay, The Gathering) and mastered by Andy VanDette (Porcupine Tree, VOLA, Dream Theater).
