Epica frontwoman Simone Simons has been quietly and secretly working on her first solo album over the past year. However, Simone is still keeping quiet about the name of her solo debut, which she has now announced on Instagram. On May 7, everything will be red, she writes on the social media platform. Whether "Red" is the first indication of the album's name remains a matter of speculation.

The album was created in collaboration with Ayreon.
