Future Palace back with new single

The energy of „Dreamstate“ is no coincidence. Maria doesn't shy away from admitting the personal origins of the song. „Very often I lack the strength to see it all through,“ she confesses. „I think many people can empathize with this feeling of being overwhelmed in our performance-oriented society.“ The transformation of the song from a ballad to hard metal becomes a metaphor for facing these overwhelming feelings head-on. The final breakdown serves as a reminder that sometimes the dream world shatters, and you are forced to confront reality.

„Sometimes the world is so overwhelming that the thought of another reality seems like a salvation,“ says guitarist Manuel Kohlert. „At first, I actually intended to write a piano ballad,“ he reveals, „but the song quickly became much harder.“

For the new music video, the band once again collaborated with director Pavel Trebukhin and traveled to Riga, Latvia. „Dreamstate“ is the latest preview of Future Palace's upcoming album „Distortion,“ which will be released on September 6th. The singles „Uncontrolled,“ „The Echoes of Disparity,“ and „Malphas“ have already been released.
