Clémentine Delauney
Clementine Delauney (born May 1, 1987, in Annecy, France) is the frontwoman of the Symphonic Metal band Visions of Atlantis.
Clémentine Delauney's musical journey began at an early age, displaying an affinity for music as a child. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue her passion. She began playing the piano and honed her musical skills.
From Opera to the Metal Stage
Her musical education started in the classical opera style. She studied singing at the Conservatory in Annecy, acquiring the techniques and discipline that would later shape her singing style. Despite her classical training, she was drawn to the powerful expression of metal music.
A Turning Point: Visions of Atlantis
In 2013, Clémentine joined the Austrian Symphonic Metal band Visions of Atlantis. Her impressive soprano voice and her ability to seamlessly incorporate classical elements into metal music enriched the band. With her, the band released albums like "Ethera" (2013) and "The Deep & The Dark" (2018), showcasing her vocal range and emotional depth.
A Versatile Artist
Clémentine did not limit herself to a single project. She collaborated with various artists and explored different styles, highlighting her artistic versatility. She also served as a live session singer for Kamelot, captivating audiences worldwide.
