“Universal Tales": Xandria announce new EP

Germany's symphonic metal heroes Xandria return with their latest EP “Universal Tales”. The release will take place on November 22, 2024 via Napalm Records and includes four new tracks as well as other surprises. After the successful album “The Wonders Still Awaiting” from 2023, which reached number nine in the German album charts, the band wants to score again with their versatility.

The first single “No Time to Live Forever” has been released today, accompanied by an official music video. “You already know 'Universal', and after getting such overwhelmingly positive feedback from you, it's now time for 'No Time To Live Forever'. If you loved the bombastic choruses and classic vocals in 'Universal', get ready... because here's something especially for you,” the band explains. The video features driving drums and fast riffs that emphasize the profound lyrics about the loss of sanity in today's world.

With a total of nine tracks, “Universal Tales” offers a wide range of styles. The EP is said to combine orchestral elements, Celtic influences and atmospheric soundscapes that characterize classical and modern symphonic metal.
