New Solo Album Trilogy by Anneke van Giersbergen!

"La Vie, La Mort, L'Amour" – Life, Death, Love: These are the themes Anneke van Giersbergen explores in her new album. The songs are divided into three EPs, which will be released as a full album in 2026. The first EP, La Vie, is now digitally available.

Anneke wrote these songs after the passing of her parents and recorded them with her eight-piece live band. "Last year, I was confronted with some of life’s biggest questions and the doubts that came with my loss. These songs reflect my feelings and thoughts during this difficult time," she explains. Musically, she drew inspiration from the ’80s and ’90s – the music that shaped her youth.

So La Vie is just the beginning. The second and third EPs, La Mort and L'Amour, will follow throughout 2026. When the third EP is released, a physical version of the full album will also be available – on CD, Digipak, and Gatefold LP. This summer, she will reunite with her former band The Gathering for five reunion concerts, which sold out within minutes. However, fans still have the chance to see her live on her solo tour through the Netherlands in March and April.
