Jinjer announce fifth studio album for February 2025

The Ukrainian band releases its long-awaited fifth studio album “Duél” via Napalm Records. The album continues the band's musical path and pushes the boundaries of modern groove metal. “Duél” is characterized by an innovative sound that combines melodic metal with complex drum rhythms and aggressive guitars.

The new single “Kafka” is the fourth song from the album and has a much more aggressive tone than the previous album. “Being an artist is sometimes beautiful, but often brutal,” reflects frontwoman Tatiana Shmayluk on the challenges of being an artist. The track combines clear vocals with intense growls and profound lyrics that sweep the listener away.

To accompany the release of “Duél”, the band is embarking on a European tour this winter with shows in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The tour promises thrilling live performances and the opportunity to experience the new material live. Fans can look forward to energetic performances and the presentation of the new songs.

Specifically, this is Sepultura's farewell tour, on which Jinjer will accompany the band as a special guest.

Bassist Eugene Abdukhanov gives an insight into the making of the album: “It's hard for us to believe that we're about to release our fifth studio album! The new album proves that our band still hasn't run out of creativity and inspiration.” The writing process took almost two years and was characterized by intensive work and the search for the perfect sound for each instrumentation.
