Former Nightwish members join forces for „Left On Mars"

Two icons of the metal world, Marko Hietala and Tarja Turunen, unite their unique voices in an epic rock duet. "Left On Mars" is more than just a song. Inspired by Hietala's affection for his wife, the song creates a bridge between two old friends and gives them a common musical language. The creation of "Left On Mars" reads like a little adventure. Tuomas Wäinölä, Marko's guitarist and producer of the album, remembers the moment when the song first took shape in Kuopio. "The fun part was bringing the song to Switzerland on a USB stick, like real agents! We had this secret meeting when we had an outdoor gig with Tarja in Pratteln and both played our own sets," he says.
