Floral scents and woody notes: Diana Leah on her favorite fragrances

For her stage performances, she uses the bold and daring scent J’adore by Dior. The Delain frontwoman loves the floral heart notes of Damask rose, which for her exude elegance and femininity. Top notes of ylang-ylang and base notes of Arabian jasmine round out this Eau de Parfum. When Diana wears this scent, she feels confident and powerful—perfect for the spotlight.

Her daily fragrance choice is a bit different. Here, the connoisseur reaches for Fico by Nature’s. With amber, cashmere wood, and vanilla as its base, it is complemented by heart notes of jasmine, orange blossom, and ylang-ylang, and top notes of fig, cardamom, and fresh lemon. Diana finds the fresh unisex scent suitable for any occasion. “It reminds me of the simple, grounding beauty of nature,” she says.

For special evenings, the artist opts for a universal scent. One by Calvin Klein, with base notes of musk, amber, and cedarwood, heart notes of jasmine, rose, and violet, and top notes of lemon and bergamot, is her go-to going-out fragrance. The citrusy scent feels fresh and clean, adding a subtle yet unforgettable note to Diana's nights out.

Of Acqua di Giò by Giorgio Armani, the singer says, “This scent has a timeless quality that makes it perfect for any occasion.” With cedarwood as the base note, Calone as the heart note, and bergamot as the top note, it creates a woody, natural fragrance. For the Dark Diva, it feels effortless, masculine, and fresh.
