DragonForce and Alissa White-Gluz: One “Burning Heart”

The song, originally available as a bonus track on selected editions of their current album “Warp Speed Warriors”, has now been reimagined – this time with a very special guest. Alissa White-Gluz, frontwoman of Arch Enemy, lends her voice to the track, adding an extra layer of intensity.

The collaboration appears to have been a true highlight for everyone involved. Alissa herself commented on the experience: “As a longtime DragonForce fan, it was an honor to record vocals for ‘Burning Heart’! This band truly has no speed limits – even as a vocalist, I almost tripped over the consonants trying to keep up. But it was an exciting challenge! I’m thrilled to be part of this amazing song and video.”

DragonForce guitarist Herman Li also expressed his excitement:“Alissa has long been one of my absolute favorite metal vocalists. That’s why I’m especially happy that the opportunity finally arose to work with her on this song. I think ‘Burning Heart’ is the perfect track to showcase Alissa’s impressive vocal range, and her performance takes the song to a whole new level.”

If you want to see “Burning Heart” in action, you’ll have the chance to catch DragonForce live this summer and fall. The final European leg of their “Warp Speed Warriors” tour kicked off just a few days ago at Sweden Rock Festival and includes performances at some of the biggest festivals, as well as selected shows alongside Powerwolf. After that, the band will join the “wolf pack” for a tour across North America.
