“Flameborn” is the fourth single from DIANNE's album ‘Soulward Bound’. The song tells an autobiographical story about the restoration of a lost friendship. “It's dedicated to my dear friend and former Xandria bandmate,” explains DIANNE. Steven Wussow, who also plays bass on the track, adds to the emotional depth of the song.

Symphonic metal duet

The song combines epic orchestration with haunting vocals and powerful riffs. DIANNE emphasizes: “To make ‘Flameborn’ even more meaningful, I invited my good friend Marcela Bovio. The duet is the symbol of our friendship and can be described as classic vocal fireworks.” The voices of DIANNE and Marcela Bovio merge into an impressive symphonic metal duet.

Blackbriar company produced clip

The music video for “Flameborn” was directed by Cinebuds, Blackbriar's video company. The one-act opera is impressively captured visually and emphasizes the emotional depth of the song.
