Carla Harvey leaves the Butcher Babies

A bang for the buck for US metal band “Butcher Babies”: Carla Harvey has announced on Instagram that she is leaving the band after 15 years. “Over the last 6 months you may have noticed my absence from BB posts. After 15 years of involvement, I wanted to let you know that I will not be returning to the band for future endeavors,” she writes on Instagram. She is very proud of what she has achieved - namely 2 EPs, 5 studio albums and endless touring. But there is a ray of hope for Carla's fans: “ I'm not done making music and performing,” she writes - and at the same time thanks her fans. “To all our incredible BB friends and fans: you have given me some of the greatest experiences of my life! I have loved every second of writing and performing for you all over the world! I have loved meeting you guys. WOW! I still can't believe this kid from Detroit was so lucky.”

Heidi Shepherd, Carla's counterpart on vocals, will - at least for now - deliver the vocals alone in the Butcher Babies.
