Beyond the Black announce new album “Break The Silence”

Beyond the Black have announced their sixth studio album: “Break The Silence” will be released on January 9, 2026, via Nuclear Blast Records and is available for pre-order now. The first single – the title track – is already out and comes with a new music video that visually heralds the dawn of this new era.

In terms of content, the band goes deeper than ever before with their new work: the concept album combines melodic metal with ethnic influences and deals with the themes of communication, inner strength, resilience, and the urgent need for society to come together again. Songs such as “Let There Be Rain,” “(La Vie Est Un) Cinéma,” “Ravens,” and “The Flood” show how words—or the lack thereof—shape our reality.

Musically, the band is open to new influences – and they have some prominent support: Chris Harms from Lord of the Lost and Asami from the Japanese power metal band Lovebites are also featured on the album, adding new facets to it.

Frontwoman Jennifer Haben sums up the vision behind Break The Silence:

“On ‘Break The Silence,’ we opened the door to new influences and collaborations. From symphonic to ethnic elements and guest artists who brought their own style to the table, this album reflects everything we love about boundless music. It's a powerful mix of who we are and who we're becoming.”

The album announcement comes just days before the band's big performance at Wacken Open Air 2025, where Beyond the Black will play one of the main stages – a perfect moment to herald the next chapter in the band's history.
