Musically, three very different worlds collide here – and in a surprisingly harmonious way. Amy Lee brings the familiar melancholy and power of her voice, while Courtney LaPlante shines with technical precision and intensity. Poppy, on the other hand, adds her usual experimental touch, which oscillates between industrial and pop rock.

Long list of exciting projects

For Amy Lee, this collaboration is another exciting chapter in her long list of projects. Just last May, she released the song ‘Hand That Feeds’ with Halsey for the soundtrack of the John Wick spin-off ‘Ballerina’. In recent years, Lee has also been active with Halestorm, Bring Me the Horizon, Body Count and Lindsey Stirling. In addition, Evanescence celebrated the 20th anniversary of their debut album ‘Fallen’ in 2023 with classics such as ‘Bring Me to Life’ and ‘My Immortal’. Their latest studio album, ‘The Bitter Truth’, was released in 2021.

Great opportunity

For Courtney LaPlante, ‘End of You’ is a great opportunity to gain visibility beyond Spiritbox. In recent years, the Canadian has become perhaps the most influential voice in modern metal. She is technically skilled, versatile and has a clear attitude – including two Grammy nominations.

Poppy is using the collaboration to further develop her unique style. The US artist has long since broken free from clear genre classifications and moves freely between pop, metal and industrial – which is precisely reflected in ‘End of You’.

‘End of You’ is a collaboration that not only brings together three distinctive voices, but also symbolically builds bridges – between generations, styles and scenes.
