Amaranthe releases precursor to the new album "The Catalyst"

The Swedish metal ensemble Amaranthe, led by frontwoman Elize Ryd, surprises their fans with an uplifting beacon of light in the gray November. The new single "Outer Dimensions" promises energetic vibes, a catchy chorus, as well as heavy riffs and growls that are intended to take listeners on an epic journey.

Olof Mörck explains that "Outer Dimensions" brings together dimensions and galaxies in one song, from introspective and obscure to a sparkling cosmos with an epic chorus. Despite this diversity, the song remains unmistakably Amaranthe. The accompanying video, directed by Patric Ullaeus, promises a visual tour de force.

The single is a precursor to the upcoming album "The Catalyst," set to be released on February 23, 2024, via Nuclear Blast Records. Fans can pre-order the album in various formats, including CD, Vinyl, and a 2CD Special Edition.

'The Catalyst' promises to be the most conceptually coherent work in the history of Amaranthe. Dedicated to themes of transformation and revelation, the album delves deeper than ever before, pushing beyond previous boundaries. The band has consciously opted for a more theatrical touch, which wasn't as prominent in their earlier works.
