Seraina Telli

Seraina Telli is a Swiss musician who is known as a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. With a passion for rock music and heavy metal, she developed a keen interest in music as a child. After studying music at the University of Freiburg, she began her career as a songwriter and recording artist.

From 2015 to 2019, Telli fronted the metal band Burning Witches and successfully toured Europe with the band. She was co-songwriter and lyricist of the first two studio albums and co-founder of the band.

In 2019, Telli left Burning Witches to devote herself full-time to her solo project and her band Dead Venus. In October 2022, she released her debut album Simple Talk (Metalville/Rough Trade), which reached number 2 in the Swiss charts. Telli also toured Europe successfully with CoreLeoni in fall 2022 and can be seen with The New Roses in spring 2023.

Seraina Telli's trademark is her powerful and very expressive voice, which significantly characterizes her "In Your Face Rock" style, as she calls it herself. She is also known for her versatility as a musician and for breaking new ground across genres.
