Marina is a versatile singer, actress, and songwriter from Brazil working in Germany. She studied musical theater at the renowned Circle in the Square School in New York and has performed on stages in the USA, Brazil, and throughout Europe.

Broadway Shows

In 2017, she portrayed the iconic role of Mimi Márquez in the German-language 20th Anniversary Tour of RENT, one of the most influential Broadway shows of all time. Prior to that, she appeared as a soloist for DS Entertainment in their German tour production of Musical Highlights. Marina was also part of the successful tour production "Die Nacht der Musicals."

Metal Scene

As the frontwoman and songwriter in the metal scene, MARINA founded the band Phantom Elite in 2016. Her journey led her to step in for Amanda Somerville during performances with Avantasia. She is now also part of the internationally acclaimed vocal trio Exit Eden, which spent over a month in the official German charts during its debut release.

A new chapter with Battle Beast

In December 2025, Battle Beast unexpectedly parted ways with their long-time singer Noora Louhimo. Just one day later, Marina La Torraca was announced as her successor.
