Margarita Monet

Margarita Monet, whose real name is Margarita Martirosyan, is a singer, pianist, composer and actress of Armenian descent. She is the founder and lead singer of the hard rock/symphonic metal band Edge Of Paradise.

Margarita was born in Yerevan, Armenia and moved to Moscow, Russia at a young age. She began music lessons at the age of four and quickly developed into a competitive and competitive pianist. She took part in numerous piano competitions and won prizes.

At the age of 11, the whole family moved to Houston where she attended the High School For The Performing and Visual Arts for musical theater. She then moved to New York after being accepted to the Tisch School Of The Arts at New York University. At NYU, she majored in theater at the Meisner Studio and minored in music.

Margarita moved to LA in 2010 where she met Dave Bates while working on a project with a local producer. Dave was looking for a singer who could follow in the footsteps of Robin McAuley. Soon their musical partnership led to great results and solidified the band, which took on the new name Edge Of Paradise.
