Helle Bogdanova

Helle was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, and showed a keen interest in music from an early age. She began playing the piano at the age of 6 and later studied singing at the National Music Academy. Her love for music eventually led her to co-found the band Ignea in 2011 with guitarist Evgeny Zhytnyuk.

Unique and versatile voice

Ignea stands out with their distinctive style that combines elements of symphonic metal, folk metal, and oriental metal. Helle plays a crucial role in the band's sound, contributing both as a vocalist and keyboardist, creating a wide range of tonal colors.

Her voice is unique and versatile. She can transition from delicate, dreamy passages to powerful, operatic vocals, making her a true gem in the metal scene. Combined with the band's dark, atmospheric sounds, she creates a unique sonic landscape that captivates the audience.

Helle is also a songwriter and has contributed to many of Ignea's songs. The new album includes additional tracks in Ukrainian. She often writes about themes such as freedom, rebellion, and personal growth, giving her music a deeper meaning.

Aside from her music career, Helle also works as a model and has posed for various photographers and brands. She has also publicly spoken about her experiences with mental health issues and advocated for raising awareness about mental health in the music industry.
