She was 14 when she founded the all-female band "Banda Sept," performing live throughout Sweden. In 2007, Guernica Mancini enrolled at the renowned Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, winning a songwriting contest that led her to record with the famed Black Eyed Peas producer Darryl Swann. After leaving the Musicians Institute, she formed the all-female band "Inglourious," performing at U.S. music events, including House of Blues, Hard Rock Café, The Key, and The Roxy. Guernica Mancini also collaborated with Megadeth's Jeff Young as the lead singer for his band "Souls On 11," touring and releasing a live performance DVD.

2017 – A Year of Changes

In 2017, Thundermother, the band where Guernica served as the frontwoman, replaced three out of four members. Founding member Filippa Nässil remained a steadfast core. After this springtime change, everything happened quickly. The reformed band released a new single, "We Fight For Rock N Roll," and a corresponding statement: "Now more than ever!" Following a tour and a triumphant finale at Wacken, the self-titled album "Thundermother" was also released in 2017.

"Hospitals terrify me!"

Due to her recurrent cancer, Guernica is already predisposed to hospitals. In 2021, she underwent the removal of a malignant tumor on her head for the second time. Now, she's missing her salivary gland. Nevertheless, her fighting spirit seems unbroken. "I feel better every day, and the cancer has been removed. Thank you for all the love and support you've given me; it means incredibly much to me. I look forward and stay positive!" she writes on Instagram.

Solo Contract with Golden Robot Records

Despite Thundermother keeping her schedule full, Guernica hasn't stopped pursuing her solo project. In 2021, she signed a solo contract with Golden Robot Records to dedicate herself to her unique projects. However, she emphasizes her intention to remain active in Thundermother and support her bandmates.

2023 – Thundermother Expulsion

Band leader, guitarist, and main songwriter Filippa Nässil dismissed frontwoman Guernica Mancini from the band without her knowledge. The decision, made without her involvement, did not sit well with bassist Mona Lindgren and drummer Emlee Johansson. Shortly after the announcement, both musicians left as well, forming The Gems together with Guernica.
