Dianne van Giersbergen
Dianne van Giersbergen (born June 3, 1985) is a Dutch soprano singer, best known as the former lead vocalist of the German symphonic metal band Xandria.
Dianne released two albums and an EP with Xandria: "Sacrificium" (2014), "Fire & Ashes" (2015), and "Theater of Dimensions" (2017). The conflict surrounding her departure from Xandria was publicly aired by both the band and Dianne on their respective social media platforms, leading to a fan uproar.

Prior to this, the band released "Amygdala" (2008) and "Medea" (2014). She is also working on her solo album "Soulward Bound", which will be released slowly over 5 years - with 2 singles per year.
DIANNE received her first vocal training at the age of 4. In 2005, she began her Bachelor's degree in classical music & opera at the 'ArtEZ Academy of Music' conservatory. She graduated with honors in 2009 (Bachelor) and 2012 (Master).
