Antonia-Alexa Georgiew
Antonia-Alexa Georgiew has been a violinist in the metal band JESTRESS since 2020.
Antonia-Alexa Georgiew (born June 20, 1985 in Hamburg) is a German violinist.
She was taught by Zakhar Bron at the age of 8 and shortly afterwards studied as a junior student in his master class at the Lübeck University of Music. From October 1998, she continued her musical studies, including with Dora Schwarzberg, at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. From 2001 to 2003, she received a scholarship from the German Foundation for Musical Life. She received further scholarships from the Jürgen Ponto Foundation and the Herbert von Karajan Center Vienna.
Until 2012, she played in the band Russkaja, which became famous in Austria with the release of the album Kasatchok Superstar. Together with Russkaja, she went on tour in Europe in May 2008. Together with Russkaja, she appeared weekly on the ORF late night talk show "Willkommen Österreich". In this context, she worked with Helge Schneider, Mia and Udo Jürgens, among others.
She has been a violinist in the metal band JESTRESS since 2020.
