Catalyst Crime return with ‘Cursebreaker’

Catalyst Crime make an impressive comeback with their new single, ‘Cursebreaker’. The epic, emotionally charged track is much more than just a song – it is a personal story of courage, freedom and the legacy of a woman who fought against oppression.

In ‘Cursebreaker’, Catalyst Crime combine their cinematic sound with a deeply personal narrative. Frontwoman Zoe Marie Federoff describes how the song was inspired by the story of her late mother-in-law:

"She was part of a resistance network behind the Iron Curtain in then-Czechoslovakia, and she secretly translated banned literature into Czech before helping facilitate its distribution. I never got to meet my mother-in-law, as she sadly died over a decade ago, but everything I’ve ever heard paints her as a hero with a golden heart who helped change the world around her for the better — the ultimate ‘Cursebreaker’", says M. Federoff about the song.
