With their new single ‘Can You Hear Me’, Beyond The Black are already releasing the fourth preview of their upcoming album Break The Silence, which will be released on 9 January 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records.

The song shows the band at their most catchy: a powerful, driving piece between melody, emotion and the longing for true understanding.

Frontwoman Jennifer Haben describes the idea behind the song as follows: ‘Can You Hear Me is a song about the shared longing for genuine connection – two voices from different worlds trying to break through the noise of a hyper-connected but internally alienated world.'

Together with Asami, singer of the Japanese power metal band Lovebites, she has created a song that transcends cultural and linguistic boundaries. Appropriately, ‘Can You Hear Me’ is sung in English and Japanese – a powerful symbol of the album's central theme: communication.

A duet across continents

Asami describes the collaboration as inspiring:

‘I am really happy to be part of this song. Can You Hear Me is powerful – and working together across countries and cultures was an enriching experience. We hope the message reaches people everywhere.’

An animated music video has also been released for the song, visually underscoring the emotional connection between the two singers.
